I-10 and I-210 East Closures Near LA 108 in Sulphur Scheduled to Continue, June 9, 2022 Update
Sulphur, Louisiana – On June 9, 2022 the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced continued lane closures on I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210, as well as the I-10 Eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 Eastbound.
The following lane closures will be occurring on I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210, as well as the I-10 Eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 Eastbound from Thursday, June 9, 2022 through Monday, June 13, 2022.
The right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, until 5 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2022. Traffic will still be able to take the I-10 Eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 Eastbound (Exit 25).
The on-ramp and off-ramp for I-10 Eastbound at Exit 23 (LA 108) will have intermittent closures during this time.
The right and auxiliary lanes of I-10 Eastbound between LA 108 and I-210 will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022. Traffic will be able to use the I-10 Eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 Eastbound (Exit 25) until midnight Monday, June 13, 2022.
The I-10 Eastbound flyover ramp to I-210 Eastbound will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022. All traffic will continue East on I-10 Eastbound during this time.
The on-ramp and off-ramp for I-10 Eastbound at Exit 23 (LA 108) will have intermittent closures during this time.
Louisiana DOTD indicated that these continued closures are needed to install surface course.
