Two Louisiana Men Identified as Suspects in Vehicle Burglary and Shooting in Ascension Parish

Ascension Parish, Louisiana – Two Louisiana men have been identified as suspects in a vehicle burglary and shooting in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, that left one person injured.

On January 4, 2022, the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that Detectives have identified suspects in an Oakland Crossings vehicle burglary and shooting.

According to Ascension Parish Sheriff, Bobby Webre on Wednesday, January 4, detectives received arrest warrants for Jacolby Lockett of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Keylon Robinson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Lockett and Robinson have been identified as suspects in the Oakland crossing vehicle burglary that led to a shooting, leaving one person injured.

Both suspects are currently in the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail on unrelated charges. According to authorities, they will be transported to the Ascension Parish Jail and charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, attempted first-degree feticide, two counts of aggravated Burglary, five counts of simple burglary of a Vehicle, theft of a motor vehicle, five counts Criminal Trespass, Illegal use of a weapon, Illegal possession of stolen things over $25,000, Two-counts misdemeanor theft.

A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
