Calcasieu Parish Schools Closed Until At Least August 26 Due to Threat of Tropical Weather

From Calcasieu Parish School Board – Due to the potential threat of tropical weather, all Calcasieu Parish School Board schools and facilities will be closed Monday, August 24, 2020, through Wednesday, August 26, 2020. All virtual learning is also canceled during this time. Families can expect an update from the Calcasieu Parish School Board no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday as to the status of school for the remainder of the week. Weather closure updates will be provided via phone calls and online.
