Lafourche Parish, Louisiana - After an ongoing investigation into a crash, Louisiana State Police Troop C apprehended 19-year-old Isabelle Nguyen. She was taken into custody for her alleged involvement in the crash that resulted in the tragic death of Henry Savoie.

Louisiana State Police indicated that instead of seeking help or staying at the scene, Nguyen left without contacting emergency services. While Troopers were present at the crash site, they received information about a driver linked to the incident at a nearby location.

Upon locating Nguyen, she reportedly confessed to being behind the wheel when Savoie was hit. Subsequently, on December 4, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for Nguyen and she was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on charges of Hit and Run Driving with Serious Injury or Death.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
