Three Louisiana Men Charged for Alleged Involvement in Vehicle Burglaries in Thibodaux

Thibodaux, Louisiana – Three Louisiana men have been charged for their alleged involvement in vehicle burglaries in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Three men have been charged suspected of vehicle burglaries that occurred this week in Thibodaux, Louisiana, according to Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre. Da’Khari Clark, 20, of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Keon Carbin, 19, and Gregory Payne, both of Patterson, Louisiana, have been charged with vehicle burglary and attempted burglary. All three suspects are currently incarcerated and being held outside of the parish.

Deputies and detectives began investigating a series of vehicle burglaries and attempted vehicle burglaries on St. Bernard Street, Julia Street, and Glenn Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana, on January 31, 2023. Detectives developed suspects in the case who were also suspects in vehicle burglaries being investigated by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Morgan City Police Department through investigation.

Clark, Carbin, and Payne were all arrested by Lafourche Parish detectives. Each person faces two counts of simple burglary and two counts of attempted burglary.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Da’Khari Clark, who is now being held at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Morgan City Police arrested Keon Carbin and Gregory Payne, and they remain in police custody.
