Suspect Arrested in Connection With Double Homicide in Louisiana in April 2023
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Louisiana in April of 2023.
In a significant development, Erin Hartley, aged 33, was taken into police custody by Baton Rouge detectives, with support from the U.S. Marshals Task Force. The arrest came in connection with the tragic shooting deaths of Latonya Brown and Stacy Brown at a nome in the 2000 Block of South Sherwood Forest Blvd, back on the 26th of April, 2023.
Hartley now faces serious charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He has been remanded to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison pending further investigation.
It should be noted that this remains an ongoing case and that law enforcement officials continue to work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice.
