Authorities in Louisiana Investigating Shooting Death of Two People Found Deceased in Appartment in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are investigating the shooting death of two people who were found deceased in an apartment in Baton Rouge.

On April 26, 2023, the Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) reported that Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting of Latonya Brown, 47, and Stacy Brown, 19 who were found deceased inside their apartment located at 2001 South Sherwood Forest Blvd around 6:06 pm on the evening of April 25, 2023.

BRPD indicated that the motive and suspect were unknown at the time this was published.

Authorities are asking that anyone having information on these shooting deaths is urged to contact the BRPD Violent Crime Division at (225) 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at (225)344-7867.
