Dustin J. Bevil of Sulphur, Louisiana, was identified and arrested on September 16 following a public tip that came after law enforcement released suspect photos to the community. The arrest concluded an investigation into multiple unauthorized entries at the high school campus.
Detectives located Bevil shortly after receiving information about his identity. Following questioning, he was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on five counts of unauthorized entry of a place of business. Judge Tony Fazzio set bond at $300,000 for these charges.

Bevil’s legal troubles extend beyond the current charges. He faces a probation violation and had an outstanding warrant for contempt of court at the time of his arrest.
