Parole Rescinded for KK’s Corner Triple Homicide Defendant After Review of Disciplinary Records

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – Parole has been rescinded for KK’s Corner triple homicide defendant Thomas F. Cisco after a review of his disciplinary records.

The Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office announced on February 10, 2023, that on February 9, 2023, they requested to review all disciplinary records for Thomas F. Cisco, a defendant in the KK’s Corner triple homicide who was granted parole on February 8 and were informed of an unreported contraband violation that would render him ineligible for parole. Later, it was discovered that the violation occurred before the parole hearing on February 8, and on February 9, Cisco pled guilty to the violation before a disciplinary board.

It has been confirmed that Cisco’s parole has been rescinded.

Due to a potential conflict of interest, the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney’s Office recused itself from the State of Louisiana v. Thomas Cisco case in February 2004. We have filed a letter to the Attorney General’s Office requesting that this matter be returned to Calcasieu Parish for further handling, including any future post-conviction, appellate, or parole hearings.

“There was a miscarriage of justice that occurred when this violent killer was granted parole. Like many other citizens in our community, I too, was outraged, and I have not slept since. I am thankful to the Louisiana Parole Board for their swift action and rescinding his parole. It is my hope that this case will be returned back to Calcasieu where it belongs.” said District Attorney Stephen Dwight.
