More Arrests Made in Connection with Theft of a UTV and Other Property, Additional Arrests Expected

Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana – The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on January 31, 2023, that detectives continued the investigation into the stolen property from the residence on Hwy 3056 in Lake Arthur, Louisiana.

A search warrant was obtained for Clay Hebert’s home in the 600 Block of North Craig Street in Jennings, Louisiana. Hebert was booked into the parish jail on January 30, 2023, for allegedly stealing a backpack leaf blower and a Honda UTV side by side.

During the investigation, detectives reportedly discovered a black duffel bag containing narcotics.

Two juveniles who live at the residence were found to be involved in and present during this activity, according to detectives.

Jacqueline Marie Guillory, 21, of Jennings, Louisiana, was arrested for contributing to minor delinquency, possessing CDS I Marijuana, possessing CDS II Methamphetamine, illegally using CDS in the presence of minors, and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Authorities indicated that more arrests are expected.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
