Louisiana Man Arrested in Connection with Theft of a UTV and Other Property

Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested in connection with the burglary and theft of a UTV, generators, and other property.

The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on January 31, 2023, that Deputies were patrolling the area on January 30, 2023, in reference to a residential burglary that occurred on Highway 3056 in Lake Arthur, Louisiana.

Deputies had previously taken a report of several stolen items, including generators, Apple products, firearms, and a Honda side-by-side.
The stolen side by side was discovered by deputies on Saint Gertrude Road in Jennings, Louisiana.

Deputies tracked down the individuals who drove the side by side to that location and then fled in a gold Kia minivan.

Clay Joseph Hebert, 22, of 615 N. Craig St. in Jennings, Louisiana, was arrested and booked into the parish jail on two counts of illegal possession of stolen things.

The Honda UTV and other items were returned to the owner.

In this ongoing investigation, more arrests are expected.
