LAKE CHARLES, La. — Grateful Dave’s Foundation is organizing an all-day community event, Luna Winter Fest, this Saturday, Dec. 13, at Luna Downtown in Lake Charles, offering hours of live music alongside local food, drinks, and arts vendors.
The event is scheduled to run live music on the patio stage from 2 to 11 p.m., featuring musicians of various ages and musical backgrounds. The lineup is designed as a continuous program, giving attendees the option to stop by briefly or stay for most of the day.
Luna Winter Fest will also feature several local vendors, including artists and makers offering handmade jewelry and one-of-a-kind paintings. Another attraction is “live doodles by Bre,” in which an artist named Bre will create drawings on site during the festival, giving visitors a chance to see artwork made in real time.
Food and drinks will be available from Luna Downtown, providing attendees with on-site dining options throughout the afternoon and evening. The setting on the patio stage positions the event as both a live music show and a casual community gathering in downtown Lake Charles.
Grateful Dave’s Foundation describes its mission as using live music and community-focused events to bring people together and create meaningful experiences that encourage creativity and personal connections. Luna Winter Fest is one of the foundation’s efforts to put that mission into practice by combining performance, visual art, and local business participation in a single public event.
The foundation is inviting residents and visitors to attend, listen to music, explore local art, and spend time in downtown Lake Charles as part of the one-day festival.
