Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Louisiana State Police (LSP) detectives are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in East Baton Rouge Parish on November 3, 2024. The shooting took place on Brownlee Street in Baton Rouge at approximately 8:30 p.m.
According to LSP officials, two subjects were injured during the incident and were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. No officers were harmed during the shooting.
The LSP Bureau of Investigations – Force Investigation Unit responded to the scene to investigate the incident. The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are working to process the scene and gather further information. The Louisiana State Police Crime Lab assisted in processing the scene, collecting evidence and analyzing data.
As part of their investigation, detectives are urging anyone with information, pictures, or video of the incident to come forward.
