The Iowa Rabbit Festival Kicks Off Today!
The Iowa Rabbit Festival started today, Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 5 PM. The event now takes place at the Burton Complex in Lake Charles.
Thursday
There is no fee to enter tonight and the festival runs until 10 pm. The carnival and all vendors will be open, however the Burton will be closed.
Friday
- 6 pm – Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys
- 8 pm – Krossfyre
- 10 pm – Wayne Toups
Saturday
- 8 am – Rabbit show judging
- 11 am – Dani Lacour
- 1:30 pm – Aaron Istre
- 3 pm – Cook-off judging
- 4:30 pm – Jamie Bergeron
- 6:30 pm – Gyth Rigdon
- 8:30 pm – Doug Supernaw
- 10 pm – Chase Bryant
