Iowa Rabbit Festival

Iowa Rabbit Festival
The Iowa Rabbit Festival started in 1986 to promote a local rabbit processing plant and has grown to be one of the top 20 events in the Southeastern United States. The annual Rabbit Festival gets bigger and better every year. The event still features a rabbit show, and vendor booths, but has added a carnival, pageants, and lots of live entertainment by local, regional, and national artists.
The Iowa Rabbit Festival is held at the Burton Complex in Lake Charles, LA. A map with directions can be found near the bottom of this page.
The 2019 Rabbit Festival takes place Friday, March 15, from 5 p.m. – midnight, and Saturday, March 16, 10 a.m. – midnight.
Admission into the Burton Collesium is $5.
Armbands for the carnival are $25 each day.
