Deadly October 30 Officer-Involved Shooting Being Investigated by Louisiana State Police
Hammond, Louisiana – On October 30, 2022, Louisiana State Police announced that, at the request of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives assigned to the LSP Bureau of Investigations are now investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened on Laurie Drive off Wardline Road in Hammond, Louisiana.
According to authorities, one individual died and no officers were hurt during the event.
LSP stated that there is an ongoing investigation and that further information will be disclosed when it becomes available.
