Calcasieu Parish Tank Farm Road Drive By Murder Suspect Located and Arrested in Beaumont

Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were informed on March 18 that Tyler D. Lewis, a 25-year-old resident of Bridge City, Texas, may be located in the Beaumont, Texas region. Lewis was a suspect in a shooting incident on March 2, 2024, on West Tank Farm Road in Lake Charles and was wanted for being an accomplice to second-degree murder.

Detectives got in touch with the Beaumont Police Department, who then sent officers to a residence in Beaumont where Lewis was found.

Lewis was arrested and then processed at the Jefferson County Jail.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
