Cal-Cam Fair Rides Now in Compliance – Fair Officials and Fire Inspectors Working to Resolve the Issue (Updated)

The safety issues with rides at the 2018 Cal-Cam Fair have been resolved. All rides are now in service.

According to Sulphur Mayor Mike Danahay, some of the rides at the Cal-Cam Fair did not pass the requirements in the initial safety inspection.

As of Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at 7 PM, some of the smaller rides are running, and fair officials along with the State Fire Marshal’s Office are working on the issues with the other rides.

All rides are expected to available tomorrow, October 18, 2018, when the fair opens for the day.
