Authorities in Louisiana Seeking Driver Who Fled the Scene After Train-Vehicle Crash
St John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are seeking the driver who fled the scene after a train-vehicle crash.

On Monday, March 27, 2023, St John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that at about 2 a.m., the St. John Parish Traffic Division responded to a train crash at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Milton Street in LaPlace, Louisiana.
Authorities indicated that the driver of a pickup truck struck by a train fled the area on foot.
According to St John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office, the suspect is described as a black male wearing a white shirt. Authorities are asking that anyone who may have information about the crash or the location of the driver is asked to call Lt. Jared Seruntine at 985-359-8795.
A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
