A Grand Jury Declined to Indict the Lake Charles Officer Involved in January 11, 2019 Shooting
A state district court grand jury was presented with three possible charges against officer Jonathan Landrum in the fatal officer-involved shooting of Juston Landry that occurred January 11, 2019, in Lake Charles. On Thursday, April 4, 2019, the grand jury declined to indict the officer on all three charges.
DeRosier also indicated that this decision “effectively concludes criminal prosecution in the case.”
