Be Moore Fest to be Held in Downtown Lake Charles Celebrate the Life of Brian Moore

Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 3 p.m. – midnight the First Annual Be Moore Fest will be held in Downtown Lake Charles to honor and celebrate the life of Brian Moore. Brian was a well known local musician and friend to many in Southwest Louisiana and beyond. Brian passed away from natural causes on February 6, 2019. In 2019 Mayor Nic Hunter also declared February 11 as a day of memorial for Brian Kevin Moore.

A lineup of bands and musicians for Be Moore Fest has been released. Organizers have indicated that the schedule is subject to change, but currently, there are 4 stages located at 3 Downtown Lake Charles venues including Luna Bar & Grill (inside and patio), Stellar Beans, and Panorama Music House.

Luna Bar & Grill:

  • 4 pm
    inside – Cowboys of Porridge
    patio – The Main Entrée
  • 5:30 pm
    inside – Jairus Daigle and The Network
    patio – Treo
  • 7 pm
    inside – Joseph and Dominque Darbonne
    patio – Justin Martindale and The Backstabbers
  • 8:30 pm
    inside – Gringeaux
    patio – Louisiana Yard Dogs

  • 3 pm – Young band Nation
  • 4 pm – The Cards
  • 5 pm – Michael Davis
  • 6 pm – Infinite Bus
  • 7:30 pm – Jay Ecker Quartet with Mickey Smith
  • 8:30 pm – Thunderbass (Jay Ecker, Trip Wamsley, Ty Soileau)
  • 9 pm – The Good Samaritans
  • 10:30 pm – Heavy B’s Big Hug Jam!
