What do You Think About Companies Banning Open Carry in their Stores?

Major retailers Kroger, Walgreens and Walmart have recently made policies asking shoppers to not openly carry firearms in their stores. This follows other large companies that have already had these policies in place including Starbucks and Target. The businesses have provided various reasons for the policy changes including mass shootings and store safety.
Businesses are generally allowed to ban people from bringing certain items into their locations and are not subject to the Second Amendment because they are private businesses. This has not stopped people from sharing their opinion on the matter though. Thoughts about the policy changes can vary widely depending on who you ask.
