Westlake Road Closures for Annual Triathlon August 20
Westlake, Louisiana – On August 19, 2022, Chief Christopher Wilrye of the Westlake Police Department announced that on Saturday, August 20, 2022, the Recreational Center in Westlake will be hosting its annual Triathlon starting at 7 am.
The following roads in Westlake will be closed off for the bikers, runners, and walkers: Garfield street by the swimming pool to Mulberry Street; St John Bosco to Guillory street; Mulberry Street to Jones Street; Jones street to John Stine Road. The runners will cross John Stine Road to make the loop around the traffic circle at the National Golf Course and end back at the swimming pool.
Westlake Police are asking drivers to please use alternate routes. The route will be opened as soon as possible after the event..
