Westlake Police Investigate Tire and Rim Theft at Local Apartment Complex, Asking for Help From the Public

Westlake, Louisiana - Authorities in Westlake, Louisiana, are investigating the theft of four rims and tires from a Chevrolet pickup truck at a local apartment complex. The incident occurred between 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, and 6:35 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, when an unknown individual or individuals removed the truck’s wheels during the overnight hours.

The Westlake Police Department is urging anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity or has information about the theft to come forward. Police encourage community members to share details that could help identify the suspect or suspects.

Residents with information are asked to contact the department directly at (337) 433-4151, extension 303, or use the department’s anonymous tip line at (337) 240-7633. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
