Westlake Man Charged with Domestic Abuse, Battery with Strangulation, Child Endangerment

A Westlake man has been arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery with strangulation and child endangerment.
From the Westlake Police Department - Officers responded to 1116 Guillory St with a report of a disturbance. Through investigation, it was learned that a domestic battery occurred between Powe and his Fiance’. Paul Powe, white male, DOB 7/25/1980, was arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery with strangulation, and child endangerment.
Powe was ordered remanded to Calcasieu Correctional Center without bond pending a hearing by Judge Kendrick Guidry.
