Westlake Man Arrested for Alleged Sexual Battery and Domestic Abuse
The Westlake Police Department reported on March 4, 2022, that on Thursday, February 24, 2022, officers with WPD were notified of a sexual battery complaint that occurred at a local apartment complex. Officers spoke with the female victim, who claimed Ricky Blaine Prince, her ex-boyfriend, had performed a sexual act on her without her consent. Mr. Prince was also found to have physically hit the victim in the presence of their three-month-old son, according to further investigation.
Detective Wright was able to obtain an arrest warrant signed by 14th Judge Tony Fazzio, and Mr. Prince was arrested on the following charges: sexual battery (felony) and domestic abuse battery with child endangerment. Santiago and Sr Cpl Stringer assisted.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
