Westlake & Lake Charles, LA: Scheduled Lane Closures on I-10 East/West for Roadway Maintenance

Lane Closure on I-10 Eastbound and Westbound in Westlake and Lake Charles

Westlake and Lake Charles Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced a lane closure on Interstate 10 Eastbound and Westbound between Exit 27 in Westlake and US 171 in Lake Charles.

The closure schedule is as follows:

  • I-10 Eastbound: Tuesday, April 2, 2024
  • I-10 Westbound: Wednesday, April 3, 2024

Both closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The closure of the left lane is necessary for work crews to perform essential roadway maintenance.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and to expect delays during the specified closure times. Alternate routes may be necessary to avoid traffic congestion in the affected areas.
