Westlake, Louisiana — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced a scheduled right lane closure on the I-210 westbound exit ramp leading to I-10 westbound near Westlake. The closure will occur from 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025, through 5 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, as crews perform essential guardrail repairs.

Despite the lane closure, DOTD officials have confirmed that the exit ramp itself will remain open throughout the maintenance period. Motorists traveling in the area should expect potential slowdowns and exercise caution, as workers and equipment will be present overnight.

DOTD reminds drivers to remain alert for signage and road crews while passing through the affected area. All work is weather permitting, meaning that significant rain or hazardous conditions could postpone repairs.
