Westlake, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LaDOTD) will close the shoulder of the Interstate 10 westbound off-ramp at Exit 27 in Westlake nightly from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning Tuesday, August 5, through Thursday, August 7, 2025. This scheduled closure allows construction crews to set concrete barrier rails along the shoulder. The Exit 27 off-ramp will remain accessible to all traffic during this period.

This closure is part of ongoing efforts to address safety and infrastructure improvements on I-10, a crucial corridor for Westlake, Lake Charles, and the broader Calcasieu Parish area.
