The City of Westlake has announced that the Westlake Fire Department and possibly other agencies are back out on J. Clophus Road as a precautionary measure.
The announcement indicated that no one is in danger and they are being proactive and preparing for fire conditions tomorrow.
Weather forecasts indicate that tomorrow, August 30, 2023, is supposed to be low humidity, hot, and windy, which are conditions that make it easier for fires to start and spread.
