West Dave Dugas Road Closure Near Carlyss on April 29

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury announced that West Dave Dugas Road, from Choupique Road to Pete Seay Road, near Carlyss, LA, will be closed to all traffic from 8 a.m. until noon on Friday, April 29, 2022.

The reason for this closure is the unloading of a barge from the bridge.

All eastbound traffic must detour south on Choupique Road toward LA 108 or north on Choupique Road toward I-10. All westbound traffic must detour north on Pete Seay Road to I-10 or south on Pete Seay Road, then east on Carl Lyons Road, then south on Thompson Road to LA 108. Detour signs will be posted.

Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use caution when driving in the area.
