West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital Tax Renewal

The West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital is asking the community for continued support of a tax renewal millage on the April 28 ballot.

A proposed tax millage renewal will be on the ballot for voters in Wards 4 and 7 in Calcasieu Parish and for Ward 6 Voters in Cameron Parish. Cal-Cam Hospital is asking for a millage tax renewal for ten years in the amount of 6.95 mills on property subject to taxation.

If the tax renewal is passed, you can see how much property owners will pay below:

  • Up to $ 75,000 – $0.00 per year
  • Up to $100 000 – $17.38 per year
  • Up to $150,000 – $52.13 per year
  • Up to $200,000 – $86.88 per year
  • Up to $300,000 – $156.38 per year
  • Up to $400,000 – $225.88 per year
  • Up to $500,000 – $295.38 per year
