Walkway Construction to Begin on Calcasieu Parish Courthouse, Visitors will Need to Use Alternate Entrance
Lake Charles, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has announced that walkway construction at the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse, located at 1000 Ryan St. in Lake Charles will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023. Construction workers will begin breaking up and removing the concrete walkway in front of the steps as construction begins and the entrance near the walkway will not be accessible.
During construction, visitors will need to use the Courthouse entrance on Pithon Street to enter the building. Vehicular traffic will not be affected.
CPPJ indicated that the project is expected to last approximately four weeks.
