Vinton, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced that there will be alternating lane closures on Interstate 10 Westbound from Exit 7 (LA 3063) in Vinton to the Louisiana-Texas State Line. The closures are set to begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, and will conclude at 6 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025.

The primary purpose of these lane closures is to facilitate the movement of temporary concrete barriers and perform necessary roadway maintenance.

It is common for lane closures to lead to slower traffic speeds; therefore, drivers are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra time for their journeys.
