Video of 18-Wheeler and Other Vehicles Traveling Wrong Direction on I-210 Onramp Near Pete Manena Road April 12, 2019
A local resident recorded two videos of an 18-wheeler and other vehicles traveling the wrong direction down an I-210 on-ramp near Pete Manena Road in Westlake. In the videos, you can see vehicles traveling the right direction moving over to the shoulder to avoid the vehicles traveling in the wrong direction.
Similar incidents were photographed in March of 2019. After that incident Sgt. James Anderson, with Louisiana State Police, said the following:
“Driving the wrong way, passing on the shoulder, and crossing the median due to traffic congestion are illegal and potentially dangerous driving behaviors. Drivers who choose to break the law risk being ticketed by law enforcement.”
The videos were posted to Facebook and have been deleted or are no longer public.
