Video Captures Hit-and-Run Crash in Louisiana, Authorities Asking For Assistance Locating the Driver

East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana – Authorities in Louisiana are asking for assistance in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that was captured on video.

On May 2, 2023, the Zachary Police Department reported that Officer Mire is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver of the white truck involved in a hit-and-run crash.

According to authorities and shown in surveillance footage, as the white truck enters the travel lanes of Lower Zachary Road, it strikes a sedan. The driver of the truck then flees the scene without rendering aid or exchanging information.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
