Unrestrained Louisiana Driver Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash After Running Off LA 3134
Jefferson Parish, Louisiana – An unrestrained Louisiana driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash after running off LA 3134.
At 8 am on the morning of July 12, 2023, Louisiana State Police Troop B received a call. A single-vehicle crash had occurred on LA 3134 (Leo Kerner Highway) near Destrehan Avenue in Jefferson Parish. Troopers were quick to respond, but unfortunately, the crash claimed the life of 26-year-old Chrissean Charles from Barataria, Louisiana.
According to preliminary investigations, Charles was driving a 2016 Nissan Sentra north on Leo Kerner Highway when the vehicle suddenly veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree. According to reports from LSP, Charles was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and succumbed to the fatal injuries sustained in the accident.
