Louisiana Woman Killed in Early Morning Hit & Run Crash on LA 190 Identified, Authorities Still Seeking Driver

Update: The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Amanda Hyneman of Slidell, Louisiana. Authorities are still looking for the driver involved.

Louisiana – According to Louisiana State Police, Troopers from LSP Troop L were dispatched to a hit and run crash involving a pedestrian on US Highway 190 northbound near Judge Tanner Boulevard in St. Tammany Parish on July 17, 2022, shortly after 2:40 a.m. An unidentified female was killed in the incident.

The unidentified female was discovered with severe injuries on the northbound side of US Highway 190. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office is still investigating the cause of death.

This incident is still being investigated. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident or the unidentified female to please contact Louisiana State Police Troop L at (985) 893-6250.
