Two Music Businesses in Lake Charles Join to Rebuild After Hurricanes Laura and Delta

Published December 1, 2020

Terran Custom Guitars and Village Music School have teamed up in Lake Charles after Hurricanes Laura and Delta to bring the community a combination retail and music school. The businesses hope to complete a repair and remodel and move into a location on East School Street in Lake Charles before Christmas 2020 so they can start serving the community.

To help complete the work for the grand opening, Eric Easton, owner of Terran Custom Guitars, and Jeremy Boudreaux, owner of Village Music School have created a fundraiser that runs through December 12, 2020. Donors of more than $25 will receive a lifetime discount at the business.

From Eric Easton on the fundraising page:

“Two music businesses, completely displaced by two hurricanes, have joined forces in order to bring the best possible retail and music school experience to Lake Charles.
We need help with remodeling costs for a commercial building on East School St. All repairs will be done ourselves in order to keep costs to an absolute minimum. Repairs include: studs, drywall, insulation, electrical, mold removal, doors, soundproofing, paint, tape, etc. Target “move in” date is before Christmas.
We understand most residents are struggling right alongside with us right now and we appreciate every donation no matter how big or small!
Donors of $25/$50/$100+ will be given a customer file with a 2.5%/5%/10% lifetime discount on all future purchases and repairs!”
