Two Men Arrested in Louisiana After Deputies and Probation and Parole Officers Locate Large Amounts of Drugs, Firearms, and Body Armor in Home
Morehouse Parish, Louisiana – Two men were arrested in Louisiana after deputies and probation and parole officers found large amounts of drugs, firearms, and body armor in a home.
On May 2, 2023, the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO) reported that on May 1, investigators from the MPSO in conjunction with Louisiana Probation and Parole executed a search warrant in which two local men were arrested.
According to reports, Samuel Galvin and Darryll Minor were located in a residence with a large amount of narcotics including Marijuana, Ecstasy/Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Crack, Promethazine/Codeine firearms, and other illegal items. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Morehouse Parish Jail where they were booked and charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm with drugs, possession of a firearm by a felon, and unlawful use of body armor.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
