Two Louisiana Men Arrested Suspected of 34 Counts Combined of Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13

Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana – Two Louisiana men have been arrested and are suspected of 34 counts combined of possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced the arrest of two Houma, Louisiana males in connection with a Child Cyber Crime operation conducted in Terrebonne Parish. Suspects Chandlar David Rodenkirch, 47, of Houma, and Christopher Mozesky, 44, of Houma, were arrested separately on accusations related to the operation.

On March 21, 2023, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit collaborated with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation (LBI), Homeland Security Investigations, and the Houma Police Department in a joint operation. Local authorities heard via the LBI Cyber Crime Unit that two individuals in the Houma region were the target of separate investigations regarding their access to Pornography involving Juveniles, which was investigated by their agency.

After receiving the information, authorities and agents went to a location in the 300 block of Cleveland Street, where a search warrant was executed and Chandlar David Rodenkirch was brought into custody without incident. Chandlar David Rodenkirch was arrested on 22 counts of Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 and was later jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Rodenkirch was later released on a $50,000 bond by local judges.

Authorities and Agents then went to a different address in the 200 block of Garden Lane Street, where a search warrant was executed and Christopher Mozesky Sr. was apprehended without incident. Christopher Mozesky was arrested on 12 counts of Possession of Pornography involving Juveniles Under the Age of 13 and was later jailed at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex. Mozesky is still being held in jail on a $50,000 bond by local judges.

Sheriff Tim Soignet thanked Attorney General Jeff Landry and his Cyber Crime Unit for their continuous pursuit of high-level crooks. Sheriff Soignet stated, “I am honored to say that we have an amazing network of Public Safety Partners locally, and at the state level, who strive every day to make our communities safer. The ability to work closely and efficiently with all of the agencies involved has proven to be a huge asset in the daily fight against crime. Our agency will continue to do what is necessary to make Terrebonne Parish a safer place for all.”

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
