Two Louisiana Men Arrested on May 11 in Separate Child Pornography Cases
One Louisiana man has been arrested, charged with 49 counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles. Another Louisiana man was arrested the same day, and charged with three counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
Louisiana – On May 11, 2022, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU) Bossier Field Office arrested 66-year-old Robert Singleton on 49 counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
In April 2022, LSP-SVU launched an investigation into a suspect who was downloading and distributing pornographic images involving minors. Robert Singleton was identified as the suspect. The 1st Judicial District Court issued a search warrant for Singleton’s home in the 1100 block of Island Park Boulevard in Shreveport. The search warrant was served on May 11, 2022, by LSP-SVU Troopers and agents from the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Singleton was arrested as a result of the search for 49 counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles. He was then taken to the Caddo Correctional Center.
In a separate case, on May 11, 2022, investigators from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit’s (LSP-SVU) Bossier Field Office arrested 38-year-old Anthony Remedes on three counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
In April 2022, LSP-SVU launched an investigation into a suspect who was downloading and distributing pornographic images involving minors. Anthony Remedes was identified as the suspect. The 1st Judicial District Court issued a search warrant for Remedes’ home in the 500 block of Northland Avenue in Oil City. The search warrant was served on May 11, 2022, by LSP-SVU Troopers and agents from the Northwest Louisiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Remedes was arrested as a result of the search for three counts of Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles. He was then taken to the Caddo Correctional Center.
