Two Louisiana Men Arrested in Connection with February Theft Investigation

Rapides Parish, Louisiana – Two Louisiana men have been arrested in connection with a February theft investigation.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on March 2, 2023, that they received a report of a burglary in the 6000 block of LA Highway 1 North in the Boyce, Louisiana region on February 17, 2023.

Deputies and detectives responded and began their investigation. According to authorities, they were able to find the stolen items as well as other pieces of evidence from the alleged burglary with the help of additional Detectives.

Investigators were able to immediately identify the suspects as Kenny Kennard Henry and Joseph Paul Lirette, both of Boyce, Louisiana, based on their investigation, and were able to acquire arrest warrants for them. Both suspects were apprehended without incident after detectives tracked them down. Both individuals were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center each on a single count of Possession of Stolen Things. Each suspect was given a bond of $15,000.00. At the time of writing, Henry is still in jail. On February 26, Lirette was released on bond.

According to Sheriff’s Detectives, their investigation is still underway.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
