Grant Parish, Louisiana – Two juveniles were killed and two injured in Louisiana in a multi-vehicle crash involving an SUV, go-cart, and a tractor on LA 1240.

Louisiana State Police (LSP) reported on March 7, 2023, that on March 6, 2023, at around 5:30 p.m., LSP Troop E responded to a two-vehicle crash on Louisiana Highway 1240 at Brumley Road. A 9-year-old and a 16-year-old juvenile were killed in this crash.

The go-kart was occupied by four juveniles at the time of the crash. The 16-year-old juvenile driver and the 9-year-old juvenile passenger had serious injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. In addition, an 11-year-old and a 6-year-old juvenile suffered moderate injuries and were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
