Bossier City, Louisiana - Two individuals from Mississippi were arrested in Bossier City for drug charges during a traffic stop by Louisiana State Police.
Troopers from Troop G recently made a noteworthy discovery during a routine traffic stop on I-20 in Bossier City. Their search of the vehicle turned up approximately one kilogram of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana. The driver of the vehicle, Robert Wheatley from Vicksburg, Mississippi, was promptly taken into custody for a number of violations, including engaging in Prohibited acts - Schedule II, Attempt and Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II.
Adleine Bingham, Vicksburg, Mississippi, the passenger in the vehicle, was also arrested for engaging in Prohibited acts - Schedule II, Possession of Schedule I, Attempt and Conspiracy to Distribute Schedule II, and an outstanding fugitive warrant.
Region 3 Narcotics Investigators from the Bossier Field Office were called in to assist with the investigation as needed.
