Two From Louisiana Arrested For Drugs and Other Charges During Ongoing Investigation in Lafourche Parish

Lafourche Parish, Louisiana – Two people from Louisiana have been arrested for drug and other charges as part of an ongoing investigation in Lafourche Parish.

On May 3, 2023, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre reported the arrest of two people after they were reportedly discovered with drugs. The two suspects arrested were Manuel Basulito, 52, and Trinity Vizier, 21, both of Galliano, Louisiana.

Due to ongoing investigations, narcotics agents obtained a search warrant for a home on West 152nd Street in Galliano, Louisiana. On April 27, 2023, agents and patrol deputies arrived at the residence where they reportedly encountered many people, including Basulito and Vizier. Authorities reported that they discovered small amounts of heroin, fentanyl, and diazepam, as well as drug paraphernalia. Authorities indicated that they determined these things to be Vizier’s. Basulito was also reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Basulito and Vizier were both arrested and taken to the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Basulito was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was released after paying a bond of $5,500.

Vizier was arrested on the contempt warrant and charged with heroin, fentanyl, diazepam, and drug paraphernalia possession. Her bail has been set at $26,500.
