Traffic Homicide Detectives in Louisiana Investigate Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge, Louisiana – Traffic Homicide Detectives in Louisiana investigated a fatal three-vehicle crash in Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) has stated that Baton Rouge Police Traffic Homicide Detectives are investigating a deadly car crash that occurred at around 7:21 p.m. on June 11, 2023, in the 6800 block of Plank Rd.

A 2006 Pontiac G6, a 1991 Chevrolet 1500 truck, and a 2022 Toyota Camry were involved in the collision.

According to BRPD reports, the 2007 Pontiac was driving northbound when the driver struck the curb and overcorrected, losing control of the car and colliding with the Chevy pickup, which collided with the Toyota Camry.
Angelina Forrest, 27, a passenger in the Pontiac G6, died at the site of her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle in which she was riding was taken to a nearby hospital and is classified in critical condition. The truck driver and the driver of the other car were taken to local hospitals for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
