Traffic Advisory: Louisiana Department of Transportation Implements More Lane Closures on I-10 in Vinton

Vinton, Louisiana - Starting on October 31, 2023, and lasting until November 4, 2023, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will implement alternating night-time lane closures on I-10 eastbound and westbound between the Texas State line and just east of Coone Gully (MM7 to MM8) near Vinton, Louisiana.

These closures are necessary for ongoing road construction.

The closure schedule is as follows: from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 to 6 a.m. on Friday, November 3rd, 2023; and from 8 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023, to 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

LADOTD is asking that drivers exercise caution while driving through the construction site and watch out for work crews and their equipment.
