The Town of Vinton has announced that the Christmas celebration set for Saturday, December 14 has been canceled.

Vinton, Louisiana – The Town of Vinton is gearing up for its annual Merry Christmas Celebration, set to take place on Saturday, December 14, from 5 PM to 8 PM. This festive event, held in the parking lot by Farmhouse Market at 1321 Horridge St, promises to bring holiday cheer to the community with a range of activities and attractions.

Attendees can look forward to indulging in a variety of culinary delights from food trucks, browsing through local holiday shopping stalls, and enjoying live music by ZydeCane. The event will also feature a special appearance by Santa Claus, where families can take pictures and create lasting memories.

There is also a 90% chance of snow forecasted for 7 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs.
