Three Suspects Arrested, Guns and Narcotics Seized in Louisiana in Morning Traffic Stop in Shreveport
Shreveport, Louisiana – Three suspects were arrested, and guns and narcotics were seized in Louisiana in a morning traffic stop in Shreveport.
The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported on March 30, 2023, that on March 29, at about 6:24 a.m., members of the SPD Community Response Unit performed a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
During the traffic check, officers encountered three individuals inside the vehicle, according to authorities. A roadside search reportedly revealed that the occupants had a half-pound of methamphetamine tablets, marijuana, and a firearm. Police seized a gun, a scale, and drugs.
As a result, the following suspects were arrested during the traffic stop.
Marvin Robinson, 37 was arrested for one count of possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance, one count of a schedule two narcotic with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of a schedule one narcotic with intent to distribute.
Marcus Darby, 41 was arrested for one count of a schedule two narcotic with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of a schedule one narcotic with intent to distribute.
Marquay Robinson, 18 was arrested for one count of a schedule two narcotic with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of a schedule one narcotic with intent to distribute.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
